Cosy contemporary romance
This was one of the sweetest and most believable contemporary romance novels I've ever read. It showed us how people have to grow and change as they get older, to deal with unexpected circumstances and challenges that life throws their way. The character development was my favourite part and the happy-ever-after ending felt well-deserved.

Dream Harbor next characters revealed
I really enjoyed this story. It is a smooth follow up from Laurie Gilmore other stories. You can read them separately but it is nice to have the other characters life integrated. Wouldn't it be amazing to live in Dream Harbor?

No. Every Dream Harbor book is written to stand alone, and this one follows two characters who are new to the town themselves. Familiar faces from earlier books turn up in passing, but nothing depends on knowing them. Plenty of readers start here and work backwards afterwards.
?How spicy is it?
Open door, but you wait for it. The steamy scenes do not begin until past the halfway mark and there are not many of them. If you want heat from chapter three, this is not that book. If you want the build to be the point, it is exactly that.
